1. How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion of your GeoHouse account and the personal information associated with it through either of the following paths:
- In-app. Open the GeoHouse app, then go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Your account, saved searches, saved listings, browsing history, and notes will be removed within 30 days.
- By email. Send a request from the email address registered on your account to contact@geohouse.io with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. We will verify your identity and confirm deletion within 30 days.
2. What Gets Deleted
On confirmed deletion, we remove the following information associated with your account:
- registration and profile information, including the name, email address, and account identifier received from your third-party login provider, if any;
- saved searches and saved listings;
- browsing history and listing-interaction records;
- property notes and other content you created in the app;
- communications and support records you sent through the Platform, except where retention is required for the reasons in section 3.
3. What We Must Retain
We may also retain limited information for backup recovery, security, fraud prevention, audit, dispute resolution, legal-hold, and regulatory-compliance purposes for as long as reasonably necessary. Retained information is access-controlled and used only for these purposes.
4. Revoking Third-Party Login
Revoking GeoHouse's access at your third-party login provider is separate from deleting your GeoHouse account. Revocation only stops future sign-ins through that provider; it does not delete the personal information we have already collected. To revoke access at the provider, visit:
- Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Facebook: facebook.com/settings?tab=applications
- Apple: on your device, open Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple → GeoHouse → Stop Using Apple ID.
